When we received a call from the property owner expressing concern of a large earth slide directly behind their home one of our estimators went to the site immediately. The top of the “scarp” slide was approximately 40 feet from the rear of the existing home. The scarp was approximately 200 feet across and the land had slid approximately 150 feet down slope. Our estimator, while still on site with the property owner, contacted an engineer and scheduled a site meeting to repair this situation immediately. After obtaining the necessary permits and engineering specifications, the project moved forward. Approximately, 12,000 cubic yards were removed and then replaced. The project finished one day ahead of schedule and under budget.

Phase 1: Project started with removal of approximately 4,000 cubic yards of soil. Then, we installed cast in place concrete retaining walls which were approximately 435 feet. We installed numerous “French Drains” with a maximum depth of 25 feet.

Phase 2: We installed additional concrete retaining walls, along with brick and stucco facing.

Phase 3: Installation of a 28 feet by 65 feet in-ground swimming pool with automatic cover as well as 4,000 square feet of stained and stamped decorative concrete pool decks and sidewalks.

Phase 4: Lastly, we installed additional cast in place concrete retaining walls, a pool house foundation and all of the underground utilities for the pool house including a septic system.
